Starting Out

• Grad Challenge Contract Form
  This is your initial contract for your intended project. This specifies title, community consultant contact information, and your selected contract options for community learning hours, length of paper, and whether or not you will create a tangible product.
• Hours Log
  This helps you to keep track of your hours to share with your Advisor and Community Consultant.

Half-Way

• Mid-Year Report
  At this point, half of your hours must be completed. The Mid-Year Report is signed by your Community Consultant. Last chance to make any changes to contract options and title.
  Photo Submission
  The school community enjoys seeing your independent projects.
  Students sumbit 1-5 (or more) photos of their Grad Challenge project to the Coordinator. Photos show their project, tangible product, and preferably have the student in the photo. Photos are posted without student names on the Media page and on the bulletin board in the cafe. Seniors Grad Challenge photos inspire younger classmen to think of the breadth of choices and possible resources for their own projects.
  • Photos should be submitted by email to the Coordinator, in jpg format. Alternatively, stop by the office in the Direction Center to share them on a flash drive. (mgatos@cvuhs.org)
    

Finishing Up

• Community Consultant Verification Form
  Plan for this. Your Community Consultant must read a draft of your paper, verify your project hours, and sign this form. Consultants often go out of town in the spring, so you have to plan ahead.
• Tangible Product Critique Form
  You benefit from having your Community Consultant critique your work.
