Room 118

Welcome to the CVU Media Department. The Media Center has a variety of equipment available for sign out on a first-come first-served basis. Equipment for loan includes: Digital Video Cameras, Digital Still Cameras, Portable CD Players, Cassette Players, and headphones. All equipment is available for a 24 hour sign out, and must be returned the next day. Equipment for classroom use includes: Video Projector Carts with computers, Overhead Projectors, and TV Carts with DVD/VHS decks. Please reserve classroom equipment 48 hours in advance to insure availability.

HOW TO SIGN OUT EQUIPMENT:
For Class-Room equipment, please use our on-line AV Equipment Sign-Out form, or send e-mail to glambert@cvuhs.org. If you have any questions please call Gary at 8118, or stop by the AV/Media Center in room 118. Students may reserve equipment in person in room 118. To borrow equipment, all students need to have a signed permission form before equipment can leave the AV area.

EQUIPMENT PROBLEMS:
If you are experiencing equipment problems, please use the Equipment Repair Form, or e-mail Gary at glambert@cvuhs.org. Please include type of equipment, location, and a description of the problem. If it is an emergency, please dial 8118 for Media issues, and 7121 for Computer issues.

AV/Media Center Room 118
There are 10 digital editing workstations for sign-out in room 118. Each station uses Adobe Premiere Elements, an easy –to-use editing program. There is also a Final Cut Pro work station for more advanced editing, and a photo scanning/audio station. To reserve a work station, please sign up in room 118. Editing instruction is available to small groups of students. Please call Gary at 8118 to schedule.
